This 2 bedroom 1 bath home is located about 50 meters from the beach in Oslob. The living area is 110 sq meters; the lot size is 1,083 sq meters.  Asking price: 2.5 Million php.  

This is an excellent price for such a large lot and house on the beach in Cebu.  A year or two from now I don't believe there will be any such large beach-front properties in Cebu for that price, anywhere.  It is already almost impossible to find a house and lot like this one at this price in Cebu.  

This is a solid house that was once the home to one of the most influential men in Oslob.  

The lot has several banana and coconut trees growing, as well as an (almost) American style grass lawn in the front (pictured above).

The home was recently painted (interior) and had the electrical wiring re-done. At that time I installed new fixtures, including ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the main living room and added many new outlets around the house.

I also recently installed new window screens to keep the bugs out, and a satellite dish that pulls in premium cable TV programming at no cost!

The island of Cebu is perhaps the most developed part of the Philippines, outside of Manila.  Oslob is a quiet community on the southern end of Cebu. There are some spectacular dive sites just off the coast.  There is also a fabulous old church, pictured above, that was built centuries ago, during the Spanish occupation.

Oslob's main city center is about 1 kilometer from the home. Cebu City is about 3 hours to the north.  There are buses that run to Cebu City (and back) several times per day.
